Car
The hospital has an underground public car park which is accessed via Nightingale Place which is located just off Fulham Road.
Please note height restriction of 1.9m.
On arrival at the entrance to the car park, take a ticket at the barrier. Before leaving the hospital please pay by cash or card at the payment machines located in the Basement of the hospital. These can be accessed via the lifts and staircases adjacent to main reception.
Disabled drivers
There are 17 disabled parking space located within the car park. These are available free of charge to drivers who have a hospital appointment and are displaying a valid disabled driver’s permit (Blue Badge) in their vehicle. The disabled bays are located near the car park lifts.
- If you require assistance getting to your appointment once inside the hospital, please request a porter or support volunteer at the main reception desk
- If you require assistance from the car park, please discuss this with the appointments team in the first instance so they can book a porter, and call 020 3315 8998 or 020 3315 8999 ten minutes before you arrive so a porter or support volunteer can meet you in the underground car park
When you are ready to leave, please present your appointment letter along with your Blue Badge to the main reception team so they can validate your ticket for you. Please note: If the names do not match or you are unable to provide this information, normal tariffs will apply which you will need to pay before leaving the car park.
Car parking charges
The minimum charge of £3 for up to 1 hour applies daily from 8am–6pm with subsequent hours as per the table below. From 6pm–8am the charge is a flat rate of £3/hour. The maximum stay is 24 hours which incurs a charge of £40. Lost tickets will incur a charge of £40.
The Trust cannot accept liability for loss or damage caused to vehicles or contents while parked within the car park.
Please note: The car park is free for patients and visitors on Christmas Day.

Discretionary exemptions and concessions
Discretionary exemptions and concessions on these charges are granted to the following groups, subject to certain criteria:
- Parents or guardians of babies/children being treated in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), Apollo (HDU) and Mars (children’s burns unit)
- Family members of patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) and burns unit
- Patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer
- Bereaved relatives
- Macmillan cancer patients (palliative care)
Any concessions granted will be agreed by the Estates and Facilities Department jointly with the individual ward or department.

Drop-off point
Drivers may drop off elderly and disabled patients outside the main entrance. This is a drop-off point only and parking outside the main entrance is not permitted.
Motorbike
Free parking available in a designated area of the hospital car park for motorbikes and scooters which can fit past the barriers (ie not those with sidecars).
Bicycle
Cycle racks are located in the basement car park and to the side of the main hospital building. Cycles can also be hired for use from Santander Cycles.
