Overview

Dr Abtehale Al‑Hussaini is an interventional cardiologist with a specialist interest in the treatment of coronary artery disease. She also sub‑specialises in spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) and cardiovascular disease affecting women, including during pregnancy. In addition, she has clinical and research interests in cardiovascular disease in people living with HIV.

Dr Al‑Hussaini teaches medical students at Imperial College London and provides postgraduate education for trainees preparing for membership examinations. She is also involved in an ongoing programme supporting cardiovascular teaching and training in West Africa, contributing to the development of clinical skills and education in the region.

Dr Al‑Hussaini is multilingual and fluent in English, Arabic, and Persian.
