Profile

Ms Andrea Day currently works at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust and specialises in pelvic ultrasound, general and acute gynaecology, early pregnancy care and minor gynaecological procedures.

Her passion is patient safety and quality improvement and recently was appointed lead for gynaecology risk. She is involved in multiple innovation projects including developing an app to help women who suffer with Nausea and Vomiting in Early Pregnancy, creating Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) pathways in Gynaecology and leading the successful Tree-mend-ous CWFT projects.

In addition to her clinical work, she actively participates in research, collaborates in multi-centre studies and has published in peer-reviewed journals.  She has also presented in national and international congresses and written chapters with experts on pregnancy after assisted reproductive technology and ectopic pregnancy. She is also actively involved in medical education with Imperial College London and is faculty for simulation training in laparoscopy and pelvic ultrasound.
