Dr Nick Pantazopoulos is a Consultant Cardiologist at West Middlesex University Hospital, part of Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London.

He graduated from the University of Queensland, Australia, in 1994. Following qualification, he gained broad experience in general medicine, working as a hospital intern in Brisbane, serving as a medical officer in the Greek Armed Forces, and providing acute emergency air retrieval services across the Greek islands.

Dr Pantazopoulos completed his specialist training in cardiology at Athens University before undertaking advanced subspecialty training in stress echocardiography and cardiac catheterisation at St George Hospital, Sydney, Australia. He subsequently trained in Cardiac CT at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA.

His research interests focus on echocardiographic assessment of valvular heart disease and myocardial function, with published work in these areas.
