Miss Palmer is an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Specialist Consultant Gynaecologist who undertook her undergraduate medical training at Imperial College London. She gained her first-choice Surgical and Medical Foundation Training in Charing Cross, St Mary’s Hospitals London, before completing her Royal College Specialist Registrar Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the esteemed North-West sector of the London Deanery. Here, she uniquely focused on vulva and menopause care early-on in her education and subsequently gained Advanced Certification in both specialisms after realising that she had a rare aptitude and understanding of this very significant section of healthcare which is often woefully misunderstood and its effect on quality-of-life under-recognised.

Miss Palmer has been a Consultant at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since 2017, working cross-site within wonderful multidisciplinary teams, whose ethos, just like her own, is to put patients first and to care and communicate with every individual as they would wish their own family to be treated.

Vulva Care

Miss Palmer is an advanced specialist practitioner in the diagnosis and management of vulval disease, including vulval dermatoses (skin issues), pain, menopausal changes and sexual function and dysfunction, with innovative training and competence in dermatological surgery and vulval surgery techniques. She is the preceptor for Advanced RCOG Training (ATSM) in vulval disease for specialty doctors in gynaecology for the North-West Thames region of the London Deanery.

Menopause & Hormone Health

Miss Palmer is a recognised British Menopause Society (BMS) Advanced Specialist. Additionally, she is a BMS and Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH) Specialist Menopause Trainer – one of only a few such trainers in the country who can train other consultants, specialists, General Practitioners, and allied health professionals, in basic or advanced menopause care.

Miss Palmer is an empathetic and caring physician with a natural bed-side manner who strives to pass her knowledge and inimitable communication skills via her passion for teaching, tutoring, and mentoring.  She has been an Honorary Clinical Lecturer for Imperial College London for over 13 years and is the Joint Site Lead for undergraduate obstetrics and gynaecology training and examinations for both Imperial College Medical Students and St Georges University London Physician Associates, at the West Middlesex University Hospital Site.
