Miss Atkins is a Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, with a special interest in the treatment of Burns, Wounds and Scars.

She qualified in 1994 completing her higher Plastic Surgery training in London and entering the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery in 2008.

Her extensive training included fellowships in Burn Surgery at The St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns, and International Fellow in Burns and Plastic Surgery at Concord Hospital, NSW. In addition she completed an Aesthetic Fellowship at the The London Clinic, Harley Street, and was Fellow in Paediatric Plastic Surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.

Miss Atkins was appointed as Consultant in Plastic Surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2011, and is currently the Clinical Lead for the Burns Service.

Miss Atkins undertakes all aspects of acute burn care for adult and paediatric patients, as well as longer term care for reconstruction and scar management, modification and improvement. She is also is happy to treat or advise on the care and management of wounds of all types.

In addition to Burn Care, Miss Atkins also undertakes body contouring, fat grafting, breast reduction, abdominoplasty and the removal of skin lesions etc. Non-surgical aesthetic procedures undertaken include muscle relaxing injections, fillers, micro-needling and laser therapy.
