Chris is a fully licensed consultant plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon with over 20 years’ of highly specialist training completed in London, Los Angeles and Cape Town. Chris was educated at Trinity College (Cambridge University) and has the fellowship in Plastic Surgery (FRCS) from the Royal College of Surgeons and a higher degree in cosmetic surgery.

He is on the General Medical Council’s specialist register for plastic surgery and extensive training has allowed him membership of The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, the Royal Society of Medicine, The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. 

Chris has undertaken two higher training fellowships: one at Great Ormond Street Hospital, specialising in Craniofacial malformations in children and prior to taking up his consultant appointment in 2015. Following this, Chris was awarded a cosmetic fellowship at the Wellington HCA the latter at the HCA Wellington hospital specialising in cosmetic surgery. Aesthetics is as important as functional considerations in Craniofacial reconstructive surgery hospital. Chris has been involved the organisation of “care packages” for self-pay patients across all the subspecialty areas of plastic surgery, including cosmetic surgery. This should make paying for private services more transparent and straight forward.

Other contributions

Currently, Chris has his own private practice in Central, West and South West London and splits his time between his family, his private work and leading this hospital’s Craniofacial unit. He is also chairman of the hospital’s abdominoplasty special interest group and collaborated with the abdominal wall reconstruction MDT.
