Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeon

Chris is a fully licensed consultant plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon with over 20 years’ of highly specialist training completed in London, Los Angeles and Cape Town. Chris was educated at Trinity College (Cambridge University) and has the fellowship in Plastic Surgery (FRCS) from the Royal College of Surgeons and a higher degree in cosmetic surgery.
He is on the General Medical Council’s specialist register for plastic surgery and extensive training has allowed him membership of The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, the Royal Society of Medicine, The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Chris has undertaken two higher training fellowships: one at Great Ormond Street Hospital, specialising in Craniofacial malformations in children and prior to taking up his consultant appointment.
Following this, Chris was awarded a cosmetic fellowship at the Wellington HCA the latter at the HCA Wellington hospital specialising in cosmetic surgery. Aesthetics is as important as functional considerations in Craniofacial reconstructive surgery hospital. Chris has been involved the organisation of “care packages” for self-pay patients across all the subspecialty areas of plastic surgery, including cosmetic surgery. This should make paying for private services more transparent and straight forward.
Currently, Chris has his own private practice in Central, West and South West London and splits his time between his family, his private work and working for the NHS in this hospital’s Craniofacial unit. He has assisted with charity cases through “facing the world” including the multidisciplinary team that separated conjoint twins: Rital and Ritag. His research is in measuring clinical outcomes with the aim of improving the patient experience and results of surgery.

Chris is the chairman of the Junior Doctor’s committee and on the clinical innovations council for the trust. He also works on the West Middlesex University hospital site. He supports the Charity ‘Facing the World’ whenever possible.
