I specialise in all aspects of knee surgery including acute ligament injuries. My surgical interests include ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction, meniscal injuries, complex ligament reconstruction and joint replacement. I also have a special interest in anterior knee pain in athletes.

My areas of interest include: knee surgery; sports injuries; arthroscopic knee surgery; meniscal injuries and repair; ligament injuries and repair; ACL reconstruction; complex ligament surgery; knee replacement surgery; paediatric knee injuries; hamstring related injuries including proximal hamstring; medicolegal; bone preservation surgery; osteotomy; revision ACL with accelerated bone grafting. I am the lead for Undergraduate and Postgraduate education as well as lead for research and the AO trauma centre fellowship programme at Chelsea.

I have contributed to many publications in the field of soft tissue knee surgery. I lecture regularly internationally on complex knee ligament reconstruction and played rugby to first class level. Medically I have also represented both national and international rugby. I am a regular faculty member on orthopaedic training courses. I review for peer review journals including the American Journal of Sports Medicine and am a member of the British Association for Surgery of the knee and one of only two UK surgeons to have been elected to the highly prestigious Australian Knee Society.
