I am a consultant specialising in weight loss (Bariatrics) and upper gastrointestinal (GI) surgeries, as well as other general surgery conditions such as gallstones and hernias. With my expertise, I focus on various aspects of bariatric surgery, including revisional surgery for failed operations, managing complications after bariatric procedures, performing laparoscopic hernia operations, and gallbladder surgery.

My journey in the medical field began at the University of Navarra in Spain, where I pursued my primary degree in medicine and surgery. Following that, I embarked on a rigorous surgical training program at the renowned “12 de Octubre” University Hospital in Madrid.

In 2014, I made my way to London and had the privilege of joining the Imperial College Obesity Centre. During my time there, I underwent an intensive fellowship in Bariatric, Metabolic, and Upper GI Surgery. The experience I gained during this fellowship was invaluable and allowed me to refine my techniques and expand my knowledge in the field.

In 2017, I was appointed as a consultant at UCLH (University College London Hospitals), where I had the opportunity to perform over 300 bariatric procedures.

Building on my passion for upper GI and bariatric surgery, I joined the Upper GI and Bariatric Surgery team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2020. Here, I continue to provide comprehensive care to patients, employing the latest surgical techniques and staying updated with advancements in the field. My commitment to my patients and the field of surgery drives me to continually expand my knowledge and skills. I am dedicated to providing personalized care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for each individual I treat.
