Ms Raman Basra is an experienced Consultant Urogynaecologist based in West London, providing specialist care in pelvic floor health and general gynaecology. She graduated from Imperial College London and completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the Guy’s and St Thomas’ and East of England rotations.

Her advanced training in Urogynaecology was undertaken at leading centres including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, King’s College Hospital, and Addenbrooke’s Hospital. She completed a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) thesis and achieved Subspecialty Accreditation in Urogynaecology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital.

Ms Basra has presented her research at national and international conferences, published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and contributed to book chapters within the specialty. She is a member of the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG).

Her NHS practice is based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where she established and developed outpatient cystoscopy services within gynaecology, including the introduction of outpatient bladder Botox injections.

Ms Basra specialises in the non-surgical and surgical management of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, childbirth-related pelvic floor injuries, and pelvic floor reconstruction, alongside the management of a wide range of general gynaecological conditions. She is known for her calm, compassionate approach and her commitment to delivering personalised, high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of every woman.
