Rufus Cartwright is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He is a visiting researcher at the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at Imperial College London. His clinical specialist practice covers outpatient and inpatient gynaecology. His subspeciality interests are urogynaecology, (the management of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and other bladder symptoms), with a particular focus on laparoscopic urogynaecology and mesh surgery. He is one of the gynaecology leads for the national gender affirmation surgery programme.
